MATT CROWHURST COMES TO VISIT AGAIN

Some of you may know that in the past Matt Crowhurst (O'Brien Team rider) has come to visit us in Lagos to do a bit of coaching. Well this time he was on holiday and was here to ride, surf and kitesurf.
So on day 1 we had him on the X-Star giving us some photo oportunities with a couple of our good friends, Daniel the kite-surf instructor from Algarve Watersports (who's can show all of us a few things on a wakeboard, btw), and Sebastian who is our surfing guru from Extreme Algarve - with a few other welcome visitors!   It was great to see Matt again, and to meet Sophie, Matt's other half. We rode a few wakeboard sets at the start of the day and then followed it up by getting everyone out wakesurfing. Our X-Star was joined by a local MasterCraft X-80 for some great photos (thanks to Matt L. for that!) to add to the MasterCraft portfolio. Most importantly it was a great day for everyone and it got Matt off to a flying start for his break from the summer circuit.   Photos from the day and they can be found in our gallery here.

Kitesurf and Wakeboard Camp

Plans are afoot to stage a combined Kitesurf and Wakeboard camp in the Algarve towards the end of this season. The plan is to try to combine this with another visit from Matt and gain the benefit of his instruction. There are no firm plans yet, but if you think you might be interested then please email and let us know!
